LEADing the Way

Learn, Engage, Accelerate, Develop! Canada’s new leadership program for sport scientists enters its second year of operation with a second cohort of 14 participants. At SPIN Summit 2020 we celebrated the first cohort of 16 participants ‘graduating’ from the program. Facilitated by Dr. Jennifer Walinga from Royal Roads University, the program explores a range of leadership themes relevant to high performance sport. It employs e-based cohort and individual meetings to equip sport scientist with the leadership knowledge, skills, and practices to enhance the daily training environment, foster a HP culture, and contribute to optimal performance of the athlete and team.
